When the issue came to light, various factors came under scanner and it was learnt that all the efforts of road safety are lacking the objective and vision. No one knows in a developed India what kind of achievements we have set, what goals we believe to attain. SO the foremost need is to determine the vision.

The Biological Park of Udaipur

About 5 kilometers from Gulab Bag garden; a new biological park in the lap of Aravali hills is being constructed. It is expected to be completed by 2011. The present population of carnivores and herbivores will be transferred to the Sajjan Garh Biological Park where they will be provided with natural habitat where they will be able to live a natural life under expert supervision. And they also will be provided with the ideal conditions to perform their biological activities.

The Location where this new Biological park is situated is foothills of Basandhara hills in west of Udaipur. These hills lost their greenery owing to irresponsible harnessing of biological and non-biological resources much beyond the sustainable limits. as per the plan, the area of 141 hectares of land was transferred to Forest department in 1986. And now government is all set to develop a Biological park here in the area of 36 hectare.

Soon after the completion of this Biological Park, the animals and birds marked for new destination will be shifted from Gulabh bagh to Sajjangarh Biological Park.

Change of weather

The day has just got hotter. Finally fans have started to run. But still nights are expected to remain colder. This time in particular when the two seasons are on respective borders, is quite dangerous as far as health is concerned. The hot and humid days will prompt you to sip chilled water which will have an adverse affect later. At most fans at low speed should run only when it is quite unbearable.
Those not having a good immunity are more vulnerable to illness. It’s nothing to fear about. But yes, the care must be exercised to avoid any bad time ahead of festivals like Holi which is falling on third weekend of March 2011.
The summer which is all set to settle, has a very moderate effect on the city ambience given the fact that Udaipur is densely surrounded by mountains and has several lakes to keep the atmosphere tranquilized.

Sahelion ki Baari

Sahelion ki Bari is a wonderful epitome of artfully created gardens in the ancient times when there was king's rule in Udaipur. The garden was a private garden when built for the Queen and her friends. At that time no one else was allowed here. After independence and when government took over all regal properties, it was opened for general public. Today besides local visitors, a big number of tourists flock here and get mesmerized with the artistic designs and amazing fountains installed all over in a magnificent pattern. Many bollywood movies, especially songs sequences have been shot here.
